Fundaments of Nothingness is a research project that have allow me to explore and understand japanese architecture from the eyes if an european citizen. Through the analysis of more than 100 works constructed by japanese architects in the last 20 years, 7 concepts have been extracted. The output of the project is a publication in the format of a theoretical guide in which is explained how and where to identify this 7 key concepts in a wide variety of japanese constructions. The project was recognised with cum laude for the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
